When you are looking for embellishments for your home, are you a gallery shopper or a Home Goods shopper?

As a designer, I am always looking for ways to introduce clients to new ideas, trying to match their comfort level with opportunities. One of those ways to encourage clients is to tap into our local art scene. Lancaster City in particular has an amazing blend of galleries offering many different regional artists work.

When you think of gallery art, the response sometimes is it’s too expensive. That depends on a few factors, the type of gallery you are shopping at, and the demand of the artist who makes the work.

In an attempt to support the local and regional artists, and to give you, our valued clients, an opportunity to shop for art and meet the artists, Room with a View will begin hosting monthly art shows beginning this fall with our first one in October.
